What is my IP address?

My public IP address

This is the official MeuIP page, the network tool from EVERYTHING. It shows the public address your device uses on the internet — on home Wi-Fi, mobile data or a corporate network.

IPv4 and IPv6 are probed separately. When a probe does not answer, the browser cannot tell a missing protocol from a failed probe — so the field stays unverified instead of unavailable.

Could not verify

City and coordinates are estimated from the address range and may point to the carrier's hub, not to your address.

VPN / proxy: freeipapi's isProxy field, shown only as a provider signal. It can produce false positives and negatives; it does not confirm a VPN and does not tell whether your connection is protected.

Tor: compared against the Tor Project's official exit list, fetched by this site's server and reused for at most 10 minutes (the project regenerates it through the day). A negative result does not prove the connection avoids Tor.

External services used in this lookup: api.ipify.org (address), ipwho.is and freeipapi.com (network and location), dns.google (reverse DNS). The Tor list comparison runs on this site's server. The address is not stored in the site's database.

Looking up…

What the result shows

The public address, its protocol version (IPv4 or IPv6), the network provider behind your connection, the autonomous system number (ASN), the estimated city and the time zone. Geolocation comes from commercial address-range databases: it resolves to city level and often points at the provider's regional hub rather than your street.

IPv4, IPv6 and carrier-grade NAT

Most fixed and mobile providers now run IPv6 alongside IPv4, but legacy networks and many corporate plans still leave subscribers on shared IPv4 addresses through carrier-grade NAT. In that case thousands of customers use the same public address, and the provider shown owns that exit point.

Why the address changes

Dynamic leases are renewed whenever the router reconnects, and mobile addresses change as you move between cells. With a VPN, proxy or corporate gateway in front of you, the address shown belongs to that exit node — not to your device.
