Check whether a port answers on a given host, with response time and HTTP status. The request comes from our server, so you see what the public internet sees of your service.
How it works
- 1Enter the host or domain and the port you want to test.
- 2Wait for the attempt: HTTPS is tried first, then HTTP.
- 3Check whether a response arrived, its status and how long it took.
Port 443 looks closed — what now?
Check your cloud provider's firewall, the operating-system rules and whether the service listens on the right interface. Testing from inside your own network does not replace this external check.
Is it allowed to test someone else's ports?
Only on infrastructure you own or are authorised to audit. Scanning without permission breaks terms of service and can be illegal.
